Review:

First broadcast on satellite TV channel E4, Misfits is a bizarre creation. A collection of “misfits”, young offenders on community service, are struck by lightning during a spell of strange weather. One by one, it becomes clear that they have developed special powers. Their powers range from turning themselves invisible, reading the thoughts of others, being able to change the future, turning men crazy with lust just by touching them…… Only one of them does not demonstrate any special powers – so what can he do?

Misfits is surprisingly gripping, with engaging and intersting characters. Series 1 only consisted of 6 episodes, however series 2 has been confirmed for 2010. Which is a good thing, as Series 1 was left on a major cliffhanger!
