Most famous Wrestler to stay face/heel for their entire career?
Just wondering which most famous wrestler to stay as heel or face for there entire career?
I assume Ultimate Warrior was the most famous wrestler to stay face, but not sure about most famous wrestler to stay heel for their entire career though.

Heels are considered like villain characters in wrestling so like someone like HHH, rick flair, etc.
Faces are considered good guys the fans cheer for and like so hulk hogan, the rock etc.
Its hard to think of many wrestler at all that either stayed heel or face for entire career. I guess it more common in the old UK wrestling or japanese stuff for it to happened but i can't think or many cases in american wrestling.
Did ken shamrock stay a face in short stint in wwf?

Ah, OK I get you now. I thought you'd just strung some random words together after a night of serious alcohol abuse, but it makes a small amount of sense now

nope, ken shamrock was a heel for quite a bit, in 1998-1999 as part of The Corporation.
pretty much 99% of wrestlers are a face and heel in their career.
Id say even Ultimate Warrior was a heel, when he started out in a tag team with Sting - The Blade Runners. But after that, face all the way.
Even Jeff Hardy started out as a heel for a month or two, but has been face for the last 9 years now. He is the closest you can get.

What about Stone Cold, I know Austin was a heel as The Ringmaster but when he became Stone Cold he was supposed to be a heel but always got bigger pops than the faces. No matter what they did to Austin he was always cheered. So if someone is getting the crowd behind them can they be considered as a heel ? although he was neither heel nor face.

These days I don't feel Heel or Face means anything anymore in wrestling. It used to be that bad guys always got boo'd, and good guys always got cheered. Now it's more complicated than that, as the supposed 'bad' guys get cheered all the time. It's more 'who has a well scripted character' than who is good or bad.
And although I loved warrior, I'm not sure he could be counted as face at all, cos he was such a jerk in the industry ;)

austin was really a tweener - someone who got cheered for doing things that other people get booed for.
austin was a heel for all his wcw run as stunning steve austin, and ecw as superstar steve austin. so austin was a heel for the first half of his career.

I think i may found one someone in the wrestling business who stayed heel through out his career, wrestling manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. He entered the business as heel manager and even acted like heel as commentator.
