Katamari is a great ps2 game as are God of War and SHadow Of The Collossus, but it all depends what you're into

Cold Winter is an excellent espionage FPS which can be picked up really cheaply for some reason. I've completed that, but not tried Area 51 yet, but its also supposed to be an excellent but cheap FPS - £5 at Play at the moment I think.
