Wii in a confined space problem..

I'm thinking this might be minority of people (including myself) but does anybody else find that they just don't have enough room to play with a Wii? Maybe it's just me (i live with my parents so have to have it connected in my room) but i just don't have the space to play it unfortunately, as it's quite difficult to play sitting cross legged on a bed :( Ah well, i think it's Ebay for mine. (My Friend suggested buying/renting a flat, which i'd love, however i pointed out, that'd be great i'd have plenty of space but unfortunately no longer any money spare to buy anything for it ) Back to the good old small/handheld PSP for me for now!

Re: Wii in a confined space problem..

Some of the more lively games might be a bit hard to play. I havent much room to move about in my room but things are fine (1 player at least, not enough room formore for wii sports games ;) ) most of the games that require you to stand don't require the pointer so it doesn't matter if you're too close, and the one's you need the pointer for you can usually play sitting down. Zelda is a nice easy sit down game or instance. If you're looking for some fun multiplayer goodness though a small room isn't really gonna let you

It's a shame really, 'cos i love the idea of the whole new way of gaming but unfortunately it's either the Wii or my bed and as much as i love it, i do need my bed lol

Re: Wii in a confined space problem..

Just been to Tesco's and they had Wii consoles in stock (last time I went they didn't even sell Wii games). I know my local Game is getting more stock in tomorrow as well, so there's definitely stock getting in all the time, the consoles just seem to keep selling out.

Anyway, littlesheepy, mine is in my room as well, and i've played a lot of games sitting on my bed, although, when i've played it multiplayer, i've just taken it downstairs as there's lots more room. I have played Wii Tennis is literally a 3ft by 1ft floor space.

Where abouts do you live (if you don't mind me asking) lol

Been trying to get a Wii all week and if your location is nearby to me I will have to pay a visit to your local Game to go get one

Re: Wii in a confined space problem..

ive got my Wii hooked up in the living room - its the only place for it really as nowhere else can you have the space needed to play. although you can play Wii Sports Tennis in your armchair as i always do, but for Baseball/Boxing/Golf/Bowling you have to have some space.

i have the PS2 up in the bedroom, yet i never play it, just the missus uses it for her plethora of Sims games :)
