Hi all

I'm a total and utter Playstation noob! So I'll offer my apologies before I start.

I'm thinking about getting a Playstation2 for Christmas for the whole family to use. I'm hoping to get some games for up to four players and would appreciate any recommendations and suggestions please?

I'm thinking about buying the 'Buzz Junior Jungle Party' as it looks like fun and I've noticed there are two, one comes with four controllers for the game. Is it worth getting this, or would I be better off getting four separate controllers for use with other games also?

Also what's the deal with the memory card? Will I need that as well, or is that solely dependant on the games in question?

You'll need a memory card to "save" any settings in games or any "progress". Buzz fun comes from using the proper buzzers - cheapest place is Choices - just got one (music quiz with buzzers) from them for about £23.50 using a 5% voucher. Came next day too.

I could only find the 'solus' edition on choices. Cheapest I've found with the controllers is £29.99 at HMV with 11% through ******.

Any other recommendations for four player games?

prices have gone up since I ordered though. Not sure about 4 player games as this is the first game I've bought and used the PS2 since February. Although the Eye Toy games can be fun.

In light of the Xbox offer recently posted I've decided to go for that. At the cost of £49.99 with 4 additional games and several titles that allow 4 players to participate, I felt this was the best choice.
