Anyone playing this on the PSP?

Gawd its addictive and so is the music.

BTW Firmware 2.6 is now emulated so all those games that wouldnt run from the memory stick are now loadable with Devhook 0.43

Not 100% sure on this without looking but you can downgrade a v2.5 (could be 2.6) firmware PSP down to v1.5 now. Then all you do is install Devhook v0.43.

Therefore buy a 2.5 PSP downgrade it to v1.5 then install Devhook 0.43 and voila - emulated games from the memory stick all the way up to v2.6 firmware.

Yes, but reading about "PSP bricking" has gotten me kinda worried about downgrading. I'm with you from the "then install Devhook..."-bit ;)

The bricking has occurred to T-082 PSP's(http://www.psp-hacks.com/images/ta82spot1.jpg). There was also said that there could be a risk in downgrading factory 2.6 firmwares, but I've only seen positive reports on these downgrades in forums.

For those who will downgrade it is important to read as much as you can about it, so you do it right all the way. You must use an older version of the GTA-game. I spent hours reading about the prosess, saw the tutorial video and checked in several forums before doing it.

And with Devhook I can run my GTA and SIMS 2 + UMD's without problems.

Is this the game where you had to tilt the world and move the little dude. The hubbie D/L a free demo from the psp site and has been playing non-stop.

I might even buy him the game.

Yes it is - uber addictive and I can get the tunes out my head either.

Friartuck : re downgrading - as Gammern says, do as much reading/research as you can before you do it. I was lucky in that I got mine when is was a 1.51 so it was easy to downgrade. The alternative is try and get hold of 2.0 which is also easy to downgrade.
