I could send you and Wilko out for a fight to the death and whoever wins will convince me to buy that TV ...in fact, I'll have the losers as they obviously won't be needing it anymore and it'll save me a few bob in the process!

However, I think you're pretty safe whichever you choose. Save yourself a few quid and go for the Panny with full HD.

I wouldn't swap my 428XD for anything, but then again I didn't see the Panny in action.

Homer we have a 42'' Full HD Panny and even on normal telly it's pretty inpressive. The colours are so vibrant, our friend has just got a Sony Bravia LCD full HD and not being biased but our panny looks sooo much better when not using PS3 etc.

We don't have a PS3 yet but we borrowed a friends for a few weeks and the Blu-ray movies and games looks super-douper on it.

Apparently you can use the BBC iPlayer on your PS3 by using this url on the PS3 only:- www.PS3iplayer.com

Will be trying that out later.

Panasonic 42'' Plasma 1080p TH-42PZ70B

Got it just after Christmas with the 5 years full Panasonic warranty. The dealer had the last few of that model before the newer one.

There could be something more official in the pipeline :

It works quite well but it doesn't look great on a big telly. If there's an official release they could do with upping the resolution to improve the quality.

But at least it works and is always an option save crowding around the PC.
