Hmm, that does look rather nice I have to say.

I have resisted temptation to jump on the old ipod bandwagon so far and have a rather lovely 20GB sony NWA which I can honestly say is seriously a quality bit of kit and the best mp3 I've ever had I cant recommend it highly enough.
Friends who have ipods have generally had a few issues with them, maybe this new generation will be better.?

Read about it in the paper, apparently they're only going to come in 8GB and 16GB on release, which seems a little small to me for such a product, with all the things you can do with it.

I didn't read the specs, but looking at the side profile of the touch it looks like it has solid state memory and not a HDD, so these memory capacities are very big for such a thing.... but like you say, it's designed to do alot of things, and that size memory for all that could become a problem. At least it should be harder to break ;)
