A friiedns has asked me to put some stuff on her ipod for her. She's already used another pc to do it, so when i connect it to my pc it says its already synced to another pc and i have to delete everything to sycn with my pc.

is there any way around this?

yep, don't use itunes ;)

I use Winamp + ipod plugin to manage my ipod at home and itunes to manage it at work.

Works fine for me.
