Mac DVD to MP3 converter?

Anybody know of a good ripper for the Mac that does DVD to MP3?
Preferably free....of course.

I tried a few PC ones but nearly all of them converted a file that contained nothing but static.

Try MacTheRipper. Details on how to use it are available at http://www.ripdifferent.com/

Re: Mac DVD to MP3 converter?

Just an update.
Sorry, but Mac The Ripper was so complicated I could'nt find out how to convert to MP3.

Tried a trial version of DVD to iPod Converter, and that worked a treat. The trial version is limited to 5min at a time, but as I want it for a music video, that's great.

Thanks for the help telred

What about QuickTime Pro, you can disable the video tracks and do an export to mp3 of the audio layers.

You could use Audacity, but you have to do it in real time. I use it for ripping audio off my concert DVDs to listen to them in the car etc. You just watch the DVD whilst recording the audio using the "what you hear" setting. Not ideal, but free!
