Hello! Gave up photography years ago but had been thinking of picking up a basic digital jobbie and possibly getting back into the hobby.

Someone has offered me a Fuji Finepix S5500 4mpx for £120. From a quick Google and checking old reviews it seems like a smart little camera and probably a good choice for me. Other than basic snapping I'd probably do some wildlife photography.

Can anyone offer an opinion yay or nay?

Sorry to hijack the thread but we're looking at getting a camera in the next few weeks. little one on the way and we want to be able to take pics.
Been thinking of getting the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 off Amazon for £85. Anyone got one or know if they're any good?

We have a cybershot which is about 1 year old, and its OK but it has some annoying niggles.

For example, when you take a photo sometimes the delay means you miss your shot. Which is a major pain in the bum.

So read a few reviews first, as this niggle may have been sorted by now.
