Burning DVDs with Subtitles

As per the title, can anyone recommend some software (preferably free) that allows you to burn DVDs and attach .srt subtitle files so they show when playing on a DVD player?

Re: Burning DVDs with Subtitles

Hi Bob,
Are you burning them as a "true" dvd or are you going to use them on a divx player?
I've used the basic version of Nero that I got free when I put a new dvd writer in my pc and films that I've burnt as basic avi files with the srt as a separate file play fine on both my divx DVD players.

Sorted it - AVIRecomp hardcodes them into an avi file.
