In order to play these DTS DVDs I know you need a DTS decoding AMP

But do you need a DVD player that will read the DTS soundtrack?

I'm sure my Amp has DTS but not sure if the DVD players have the ability to process it?

Yes I believe you'll need a DVD player that will read it. It will have the DTS logo on the front of the player.

Can anyone recommend anything of decent quality thats multiregion and DIVX (not essential) - cheap as poss but anything considered?

I remember posting the toshiba in yout DivX player thread which is a very good player

Just looked at that - quite a cheap player too.

Wondering if the PS3 has DTS playback now or whether to wait and get a BluRay player instead.
