Unlocking Mobile Phones

Does anyone know the best way to unlock a mobile to enable it to be used on a different network.
There are options available from internet companies/ebay sellers/ Mobile service providers. I just wondered what forum members thought is the best price/service as I have a couple I need to unlock (Sagem and Siemens)
Cheers!

If it's a Nokia phone on the 3 network, it simply CANNOT be unlocked without getting the code from 3. They charge £15 and make you wait for 2 weeks. No shops, market stalls or internet sites can do it for you.

Actually that's not strictly true. I had 2 Nokia 7600's on the 3 network, got them unlocked at my local Sunday market for £3 a pop, all of them were sim free as when I got back home I tried out all of my free sims from Orange, O2, Virgin etc and I used one solely on the T-Mobile network for about a year and the other was on Vodafone. Worked fine, no probs with reception or calls failing etc.
