RGB Leads

My brother gave me some RGB/Component leads, so I thought I could hook up my dvd player to the tv. Pluged in the leads on the dvd player an tv and nothing happened.

The tv and dvd player both have the rgb/component ports..

So I guess I must be doing something wrong but what? lol

Any help advise would be great, Thanks in advance

Re: RGB Leads

It should work, as long as you've got component and not composite connections. Maybe you have to change the settings on the dvd player.
