I wouldn't call a fiver a waste of money.
My problem with the one I had, was that the reception kept changing when on a journey.
It's easy enough to keep changing frequencies on the little dial thing, but gets to be a hassle if you have to keep doing it.
They may be better now wilko.
I think i'm gonna go for the direct input kinda thing
After using the iTrip for a few days, I'm a little dissapointed to be honest.
Sound quality is good, and very easy to use. But it keeps stopping transmitting. The LED comes on but it doesn't transmit - you have to then reset the iPod and mess around with the station files to get the iTrip to start working again. Its done it three times so far and its bloody annoying.
I have one with jacks into the car cigarette lighter, so it charges the iPod as you listen to it, and it transmits a frequncy which is consistent and good. It sometimes goes a bit crackley when theres a REALLY heavy bassline, but usually its alright.
