Anybody Using Google Chrome?

I have just downloaded the new Google Browser (Google Chrome). Any body else using it?

I'll give it a couple of days to see what I think of it. Then I'll decide whether to go back to firefox.

I was looking forward to trying this out, but no win2k support I'm hoping that's only in the beta, but I doubt it ;)

Bloody hell, I'm surprised that anything works - you might as well be using Windows 95!!!

Although to be fair, I still think Windows 2000 is Microsoft's best OS so far.

I tried chrome but didnt like it. I`ve become too used to firefox and the extensions. Chrome imported my firefox settings and bookmarks but then I couldnt find how to access the bookmarks, looked for a bit, got bored and uninstalled it

Im using it now, certainly makes things look a little more roomy now that I dont have any toolbars installed across the top. Its supposed to make browsing quicker but I haven't really noticed. Anyone else?

I went back to Firefox.

Chrome is just too frustrating - i'm used to firefox now, and Chrome is too much of a "revolution".

The draggable tabs were nce but ultimately pointless. What I dont like in all the next gen browsers (inc FF3) is when you type in a url it searches for all possbible sites through your bookmarks. That really annoys me. Luciky there`s a firefox extension that stops it. FF3 call this feature The Awesome Bar, balls it is!

lol luckily so far the only things I've found that don't work in 2k are things Microsoft had made with pointless 'shiny' features to try and make people upgrade OS, like MSN and Media Player 10, features of which I don't need, because I'm not into shiny.... DX10 obviously, and a few old win95 games because there's not a proper compatibility mode.
I def think it's the best OS still because it's built to not use many resources and leave plenty for the applications it runs, something both vista and XP aren't good at, as they're (vista mainly) built to use up vast amounts of resources just to run and look nice.
If people would only apply the way Google Chrome is built to an OS, we might get back to something as efficient as win2k again

I actually find that feature very useful - it certainly is easier than trawling through masses of bookmarks to find what I want.
