Please could somebody recommend a decent download manager for using with Rapidshare.

Haven't used it myself but http://www.rapget.com/en/ is supposedly good.

If you have a premium account then I'd go with Flashget. It`s what I use. Just set it up to log into RS with your username and password and you are sorted. If you use Firefox get the flasgot extension and then you get the ability to highlight a set of links, right click on them and select Flashgot Selection and it copies all the links into flashget

Having tried the others I found Internet Download Manager to be the best. You can have two queues, customise how many files to download at once and you can tell it when to start/stop downloading each day and it shuts down when finished if you tell it too.

It's one of the few programs I've actually paid the registration fee for and IMO it's more stable than the others with Vista.

You know I think I'm gonna get this SB which is a 1st for me as usually go to Demonoid or somewhere. It works perfectly unlike the others which I couldn't
get to function. thanks again
