Looks like Microsoft have backed away from buying Yahoo.

Personally, I am very nervous about either Microsoft or Google making any further aquisitions. The two companies are just too damn big and powerful.

It's scares me that Google could start to use the information it has gathered on every web-surfing individual in the world. Trust me, they know a phenomenal amount about you, me and everybody else that uses the internet.
