Best connection for crt tv to pc & Best place for audio/tv cables?

Does anyone know what would be a better connection for old crt tv to a pc,

Scart to s-video or
Scart to VGA?

Also does anyone know a good and cheap place to get the following:

1x 3.5mm Stereo to 2x Phono Audio Cable
2x Phono Splitter/Joiner Adapter - 2 Phono Sockets to 1 Phono Plug
1x Scart to S-Video/or Scart to VGA

Best place to get things like that for the price is eBay - find what you want at sa Maplins then look on eBay and knock about £5-£10 off the branded cables e.g. Nikkai.

That's spooky, I was about to ask a similar question when I saw your post.
Does anyone know which cables are needed to connect a TFT/LCD TV to a PC. i.e. to show movies with sound from the PC on the TV.
Cheers!

Not real useful to use ebay in my case as the item I require are quite cheap get and are best to buy off one site who does not rip off in postage as ebay do, as I found all the item including postage for around £6.18ish on site called www.kenable.co.uk, does anyone know if they are any good?

Well its a lot easier with modern screens with all their new connections, the best solution varys screen to screen but it seems like that doing a hdmi to hdmi seems the best one you can do, if you don't have a hdmi graphic card dvi with hdmi adapter to hdmi seems a popular choice.

I brought the items I need from www.kenable.co.uk, not long after my last post. I have to agree a good company, they best value i seen for smaller items and the postage is a bargain.

For some branded cables I have found http://www.tvcables.co.uk/ very good and well priced.

Bought many a Thor SCART from them...
