I think it was a case of walk now or be thrown out lol

He knew his time was up, I think it's been on the cards for a while.

It's a shame he's gone as he was good for the premier league ...he was quite a character and a good manager. Abramovich was making his position untenable so he did the right thing in the end, you can't have chairmen and owners interferring with the football on the pitch.

My 15 yr old son was gutted this morning hearing this :(
I would go as far as saying he was the best Manager Chelsea ever had.

The FA now have the chance to get rid of the muppet and give him the England job

To say I'm stunned would be an understatement. I was one of the 25,000 at the game on Tuesday, and I didn't think they were that awful. Admittedly, I wouldn't have put Terry up fornt for the last 10 minutes because he simply isn't a striker, but apart from that, it wasn't Mourinho's fault that the players had a bad night. 64% possession and over 20 chances should have meant an easy victory, and on another night, they would have put 4 or 5 away.

Whether or not you like Mourinho, you have to admit the Premier League is going to be duller without him.

Thanks for the last three years Jose, and good luck wherever you go next (unless it's to the Spuds, then I hope you lose every game lol.)

Apparently, Mourinho could end up at Portugal as Scolari has been banned from the touchline for their next 4 qualifiers.
