I'm not so sure.

The old badge is very "busy" - lots of colour and looks a bit dated. The new badge fits in with the minimilism (is that a word?) of modern life.

However, I don't like the fact that they have completely dropped the trademark claret and blue - it's like newcastle dropping the black and white!

Actually, scrub that last remark - I have looked closer and the border is claret, so the club colours are present.

I think its a grower - the more I see it the more it grows on me - will have to wait to see it on our new Nike shirts next season for final judgement.

Some twat on the telly the other day said we'd got rid of our traditional stripes from it. What the tit didn't realise is the badge only had stripes in its first reincarnation in the 90's when Ellis changed it. Then changed it again to the one above.

Anyhows its for our re-branding to try and crack America and other football hotbeds on our way hopefully to world domination - again.

Not sure about "world domination".

But I can see Villa being a regular top 6 side. However, I can't see you cracking the top 3 for a while yet.
