Formula 1
Thought would start this thread, Lewis hamilton what a start for this rookie kid, he seems to be full of talent at 22, and of course he is a brit.
I remember the days of Mansell,s swashbuckling overtaking on the track in the days you could overtake.

Re: Formula 1

Yep indeed but i think in mansell,s day apart from when hw won the title in the williams, it was more down to driver skills than technology as it is today.
You had senna, prost, piquet, rosberg, and mansell racing each other in the good old days.

He certainly looks like he has a talent and could well be sooner than a few years.
The way he drives nothing seems to faze him yet he is only a rookie love to see him win a race this year, and no doubt he will.
Could also be in for the drivers title he has the talent.
Well done Lewis

Re: Formula 1
A lot of the comments have been related to Lewis going into a good car setup...I wouldn't totally agree with that...he's shown he is there on merit (gp2 etc) and it's great to have a new hero on the tracks.
Like my mate said...Lewis is the new Hill, Button is the new Herbert

Re: Formula 1
A decent car does help for sure but its the raw racer in him that makes the difference. Button would be at the top if he was in a Ferrari or McLaren as he is a superb driver he just doesn't have the car underneath him to unlock his potential.
