Re: Formula 1
Bad luck Lewis still another podium
Cannot understand Dennis saying they turned the engines down bet you Ferrari are smiling about that comment.
I know Lewis finished 3rd in his first Britisg grand prix and he is still a rookie, but i would have thought sod the engine and im gonna go for it.
Remember Mansell and Piquet
Sorry if i am being harsh Lewis but after that stunning pole expectation was high.

You are being harsh. Don't forget, Mansell and Piquet did not have to make their engines last through the next grand prix while Lewis does  No point ruininng your chances in the next grand prix when you know you're not going to pick up any extra points for your efforts. To be honest, there was no way Lewis Hamilton could have won today. Ferrari won hands down on speed and strategy. It was pretty clear after the first round of pitstops that Lewis was out of the running for the top step of the podium. Not his fault, the hardware just wasn't good enough. Though he did manage to make his first real mistake at one of his stops. At least it was an entertaining race with a fair amount of over-taking

Perhaps i was being a little harsh
But he did say that he had a balance problem all weekend yeah i see the point of saving the engine for the next race, but he has still done a fantastic job, but the pitstop mistake was only very minor, not like albers completely ripping the fue pipe off.
Bless him  and he had to pay the fine himself

Re: Formula 1
Well Schumi reiring i had hoped all the cheating would have gone too.
But no Alonso drops 5 places on the grid and Lewis on pole due to the pit lane incident.
Stewards full report http://www.itv-f1.com/Feature.aspx?T...al&PO_ID=40284
That was blatant cheating by alonso in holding up Lewis in the pit lane, and it seems he lied too.
He really must be worried about Hamilton

At least justice was done. Chucked down to sixth place. Serves the Spaniard right.

Well done boy, all that pressure he had on his shoulders after yesterday, kimi all over him but he came through
As ron was banned from picking up the constructors trophy pending appeal, I dont think even when Lewis won his first race Ron did not go up with Lewis to collect the trophy, but strange he did with Alonso recently
