Grand National 2007

Whats everyone going for then?

I'm looking a Point Barrow and Liberthine to start with and then horses that say on good to firm ground.

Re: Grand National 2007

Personally, I hate the National as a spectacle, and I never bet on it. However, looking at the form guides, I'd have to say Jack High at somewhere around 33/1 looks quite good value.

Re: Grand National 2007

Ferdy Murphys horse Joe's Edge is one of my hopes (did it last week at 16/1 ) and hopefully will re-pay his good win at Cheltenham BUT I dont like backing the favourite for the Grand National :?...although i've also got little wagers on nearly half the field at this rate including

L'Ami (I believe Tony McCoy is on board for this - Good Aintree so far for him and got a few quid back on Exotic Dancer yesterday and he's in great form having won the Irish grand national for the 1st time will add this to the list but the weight is a problem.)
Silver Birch
Bewleys Berry
Billyvoddan
Liberthine (jockey - the amateur Sam Waley-Cohen has fantastic record across fences so could be his year )
and Dun Doire which I did ages ago but has now drifted back out to 14/1 as the going doesnt look so good for him .

Good luck and hopefully no bad fallers this year

and I seem to have cursed Tony McCoy by saying he was having a good Aintree festival...I dont think he'd agree after the Wichita Lineman race.

Re: Grand National 2007

My husband got a nice new few winners today....(Chief Dan george at 20/1, Monets Garden at 4/1 and then Dunbrody Miller at 25/1...) so whilst looking over his shoulder in the bookies when he was getting his winnings...he re-invested a tenner each way on Bothar Na which is added to my ever expanding list now!!
