Playoffs to Superbowl!

I know Blunty follows this, but does anyone else? I think the wildcard weekend had quite a few good games, and enjoyed most of them (except the loss of video in the last few minutes of the Giants game).

I'm a Bears fan (and I know there's plenty of us and Dolphins fans in the UK!), but am not quite sure that the Bears are as good as people are making out, and am getting a bit worried about our first playoff game against Seattle!

Anyone else?

Re: Playoffs to Superbowl!

Good Man! My thread was starting to stagnate!

Good weekend generally (apart from the giants result). I think the games this weekend will be a lot better.

Philly were average against us so I can't see them getting past the saints.

I have a fiver on the saints more in hope than realism I think...it would be great to see them do it.
Your boys chicago have been good all year, you should beat the seahawks comfortably I reckon.

I'm thinking;

Baltimore over Indy
New Orleans over Philly
Chicago over Seattle
and The Pats over San Diego (reckon new englands defense will keep LT at bay!)

Re: Playoffs to Superbowl!

As much as the general view would be surprise at you thinking the Pats will beat the
Chargers, I tend to agree. The favorite always seems to go out early nowadays (here's hoping!).

As for Da Bears, they SHOULD win, but will they, it all rides on Grossman!

And I'm tempted to say that Indi may upset the Ravens too! In fact, I'm gonna go the complete oposite of you on all the games (except for Da Bears!).

Are you anticipating the regular season game to be played at Wembley as much as I am???

Has the game in england been confirmed yet?

I heard there were 4 teams competing for 2 games...think it was the uk, germany, mexico and canada

Re: Playoffs to Superbowl!

Mexico already had one, and I'm guessing Canada wil be next, but we will get one. The viewing figures are on the up and up, and if it was on terrestrial tele, then it would be up to and maybe more than th 80's on C4.

It will be here in the next couple, I'm counting on it! (unfortunately, they can usually only send teams with low season ticket holders so they don't upset them, so it looks like an Arizona Vs Cleveland game for us - lol)

Re: Playoffs to Superbowl!

me too! I used to have a season ticket to the Monarchs and went to a few world bowls, they were all good.

The best thing about a regular season game is that they will actually play their 1st team!

WOOHOO! Decision to be made on Tuesday, here's a section from NFLUK, :

'And then there were two. Following the NFL’s announcement that next season’s international regular season game will be staged either in the UK or Germany, Alistair Kirkwood, Managing Director of NFL UK, explains the drama of the last few months and looks forward to next Tuesday’s decision day.'
