I noticed you were getting cocky over at FFZ. Even strayed into the Newcastle sub forum to strut your stuff.

Bad luck for us though, losing our new striker to injury. I've heard it was just a dead leg though.

By all accounts, it was a deserved win for the villa. Newcastle were never really in the game.

Wilko1972.

Yes, Martins was quite poor. He will probably take a few games to adjust to the pace of the English game.

As long as he's not another Luque

I bumped into a birmingham city fan last night at work while i was talking to someone about what a great opening week we have had etc. etc. She piped up with 'typical villa fan, getting cocky!' It comes to something when you can't enjoy your team doing well without someone thinking you are being cocky. Any villa fan knows that we still have lots of problems within our squad, hopefully over time we will improve the squad and become a better team for it. Until then, maybe we can enjoy the good times?
