I get the impression that the Milner deal was conditional on Newcastle signing The Fat Australian from the boro. And when The Fat Australian deal fell through, Newcastle pulled the Milner deal.

How must Milner be feeling? To be replaced by an ageing overweight overrated has been?

:?

The fans will be behind him though. F.A.B. would have had a lot to prove. I can't see how it possibly could have gone well.

Well, before todays game I'd have been happy with a point. However I now feel that we dropped two points by not taking the numerous chances we had mainly down to a spot of bad luck/finishing and some superb defending from West Ham - one goal line cleance in particular.

Still a vast improvement on last eyars 4-0 drubbing.

From what I have seen of Villa this season, the improvement in form has been dramatic.

Last year you were struggling against relegation, this year I think you'll be top 6. I initially thought top 10, but thing are looking rosier than I originally thought.

My wife is a Villa fan (being from Birmingham), so I get to watch quite a lot of Villa games.

It's the Martin O'Neill Factor I tells ya. I would have him back at Celtic in an instant...truly underrated manager.

Your team wont suffer many 4-0 drubbings under his guidance - that's for sure!
