I don't know. But they need to act now while they are still at the top, and not allow things to slide.

Don't need a left back - Heinze is excellent.
Shouldn't have spent £18.6 million on Carrick. Could have had Duff, Bellamy and Rosicky for the same amount!
Fergie's lost the plot.

I don't really see how our defence needs strengthen. We had one of the best defences last season.

van der Sar - still a quality keeper
Neville - Still playing great
Heinze - great player

Left wing we could play Richardson a bit more, I think he could be a really good player.

It's more central midfield that we have the problem. Carrick was overpriced but I think he will be a solid player for us.

Strikerwise I think we need to replace Ruud. We need a striker who will score 20+ goals a season. Saha is a good player but I think really a backup player.

I don;t think Money's the problem, as on top of the minimum Kitty of £20m per Season the Glazer's Promised, there's 16m from the Obi Mikel Transfer to Chelsea, Its been highly documented that we're no longer the most attractive club in the Premiership, In the Last 6 Months, 4 Players Rejected us and joined Chelsea instead (5 if you Include Obi Mikel, but we got 16Mil Out of That)

There have been some Major Bargains, Cannavaro £6m, Duff £5m (Bargain of the Season), Can't believe we didn't go for either. We have Scholes and Heinze back, which is like 2 Signings, and Scholes looks back to his best.

I think Carrick is a Good signing (Would have preffered Gatusso), without Scholes last season we were all over the place until Fergie started playing Giggs in the Middle, it will give us more options, We Def need another midfielder and if we could Sign Torres, I can def see us geting a little closer to Chelsea and finish above Liverpool, but I don;t think we can win the Title

van der Sar is getting on a bit and United need a 'keeper that they can use for the next 5 years +. Neville isn't a great player and there are better that United could try to get. A lot of the United players are getting a bit too old now and need to be replaced, Ferguson has trouble doing that as he's had them in the team for so long.

Should've moved for some of the Italians. Looks a little too late now.

Ben Foster looked the business for Watford and will have a years experience in the premier league after this season is over.

Hopefully he will be Utd's keeper for years.
