The big problem is obviously having a manager that cant buy the players they want only who they're told to buy. Ashley shouldnt have brough tKeegan back in the first place as he himself said he hadnt watched ANY football for 3 years! its no wonder they brought someone in to buy the players for him really.

Yeah. Strange.

But it's only short term, and if he can steady the ship then good luck to him.

And to be honest, which half decent manager would take on Newcastle in it's current state? So Joe is probably better than we could have hoped for.

There are a lot of out of work managers that would spring to mind before Joe Kinnear tho, George Graham, David O'Leary, Bryan Robson. I hope that he doesnt get things right, for him to then lose the job to someone else. All this talk of KK getting the job back when ashley sells is strange tho, why bring him back again just because of his name?

Its all media hysteria - KK won't be coming back, and rightly so.

But the reason for Joe Kinnear? He's Dennis Wise's mate.

You would have thought that they would distance themselves from more cockneys coming to the club, so as not to be seen as "antagonising" the fans. Not that I have a problem with it, but some of the more "small minded" fans do.

It just shows how out of touch Ashley is. He has NO CLUE about running a football club, and he has NO IDEA how important it is to have the fans on his side.

I fear for the future of Newcastle. Potential relegation is the very least of our problems at the moment. Going out of business is top of my list of worries for NUFC.
