Discussion of cashback schemes on the site
It has come to our attention that the use of cashback schemes are directly affecting the site's own affiliate schemes.
It is therefore with regret that with immediate effect, we can no longer allow discussion of cashback schemes on the site. Any posts that reference cashback schemes will be removed or edited.
This site can only exist on the very modest income that is generated by it's affiliate schemes, therefore I hope you understand that this decision has been made to ensure the continued survival of this community.
Regards,
wilko_uk.

We need to check exactly how pigsback affects us, but yes, possibly.

It's up to the individual to decide whether they want to support this community. They just can't discuss it here.

Re: Discussion of cashback schemes on the site
Why not allow other forms of advertising (banners, small adverts etc) to help fund the site as well?
I can understand your decision for all the cashback sites that have links for most of the online dvd retailers being banned but pigsback only has cd-wow. I am all for raising more funds for better comps, and the running/expansion of the site but it has to be with a balance of what the members use the site for.
I for one like the pigsback threads and judging by all the posts/views in them so does 90+% of the site as well.
I am not having a major rant just reconsider leaving the pigsback threads going.

You have probably noticed that the pigsback thread is still there.
Like you, I looked long and hard at pigsback, and really a "daily points" thread isn't doing much damage. So I guess that can stay.

Re: Discussion of cashback schemes on the site
I normally always use the links on here but only when things are posted as most of the time they are bargains etc and I don't want to miss out lol and more often than not I forget about the cashback site anyway
I only use pigsback and ****** anyway..

Re: Discussion of cashback schemes on the site
I agree HMV has a good % but 100% behind using your Amazon links.
