Hi can anyone help me. I ordered something from play 2 days ago and its now dropped by £3 in the play sale i know its not much but will play give me a £3 refund just wondering if anyone knows.

Nope, I can guarantee you that play will not give you a refund. Prices often fluctuate, so when you discover a bargain shop instantly. But on the other hand, you were doomed from the beginning since you did order just before play launched their sale..I guess the dvd is going under the tree?

I can also confirm that they will not budge on this from past experience. tough luck was the answer I got. :x

When you think about it, it's quite obvious that they can't refund customers due to their own price fluctuations. Number one; they will loose lot of money and number two; their customer service will be overloaded with customers requiring refund. Both these factors are veery bad for business..

some shops do offer this though, I think amazon are one, if they drop the price within so many days of you ordering it and you notice the price drop, you get a refund.

Amazon definitely do offer that service, however, I have brought something from Play before, a couple of days later it went down in price, i then re-ordered it at the lower price, returning the more expensive item.

Heheh..that's a nice way to eliminate the problem. But I guess you had to pay the postage expenses ? I live in Norway, and an eventual profit by returning the item, is swiftly killed by the postage fee.. So for me that solution is not an option..buhuu

no they wont but its such a good site you will find something you will want for a good price saving yourself more money so its swings and roundabouts good luck in future with your bargain hunting
