the hut i'm impressed anyway

made a few purchases from these over the last few weeks(churchill10 rocks) anyway received all but one item sipped out on the 8/12
so i emailed them on Saturday and they replied within an hour 1 for the hut i think
anyway they said if i had not received the dvd by Monday to ring them it never arrived so i rang them

this is where i got impressed the guy on the phone did a web search with other etailers while was talking to him because they had no stock told me amazon could deliver in time for Christmas if i use express delivery then told me he was sorry for the inconvenience and gave me a full refund

so i am gonna give the hut 9/10 for service i would have give 10/10 but i never received a dvd

We can confirm that the cancellation for the products listed below has been successful. Your card has not been charged for these items.

What the hell does that mean?

Fair enough if no stock, but there's no reason why it was cancelled! I have another order too, let's see how that goes.

The Hut are actually a very good retailer - but they do tend to let themselves down when it comes to dealing with misprices. Also they can be a bit hit-and-miss with regards to customer service.

I think a retailer who hasn't done their homework in setting up a proper formula for postage rates to O/S, needs to have a serious look at how they run a biz.

I had another order, but cancelled it myself :)

Never again.

Yeah, that sounds like a crap excuse. They should either accept foreign orders or not - they can't pick and choose what orders they will send.
