HMV Help

I have a couple of outstanding orders at HMV which are just taking to long., I would cancel but not sure how the order will be affected.

I bought 3 DVDs using the £5 off £30 spend voucher. I have recieved 2, including the discounted item and my card has been charged for these two. The last one I am waiting on was in stock when ordered, but has since been put back to on order with suppliers. I have emailed them and they cant tell me when it will be sent, if I cancel this part of the order, will this affect the other two even though I have recieved them and been charged

Cheers

Kev

Nope.. not at all.
They will split the charge. You have been charged for 2 items. They cant charge you more at a later date. You are safe :)

Re: HMV Help

It'll stay like that, it won't change status, but HMV should e:mail you to confirm it's been cancelled.

Re: HMV Help

Has anyone else had trouble contacting HMV.co.uk recently?

This October I ordered a DVD Box Set from HMV that had been damaged during shipping. I contacted HMV through the contact form on their site and a few days later HMV emailed me with details about replacing my item. I sent the faulty item and an enclosed letter back three weeks ago, and I haven't received my replacement yet.

I couldn't find the contact form on their website anymore, so a week ago I contacted them at product@hmv.co.uk and asked if they had received my return or if they had information about the status of the replacement. I haven't heard anything from them so far.

Is this lack of communication common with HMV and have any of you had these experiences lately?

As I live in Scandinavia, phoning them is pretty much the last option I'm willing to take.

I've had the same problem. I sent back stuff back in late October/early November because they sent me the completely wrong boxsets and they were supposed to send me replacements, I sent back 5 in total and have only received 1 replacement. I did e-mail them last week but haven’t heard anything back yet. I must remember to call them on the 0207 number.

Re: HMV Help

Thanks for the replies. So it seems they are having bigger delays and it's not just my order. Must be because of all the Christmas shopping. Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon.
