Just noticed this on play.com. I assume it's something similar to amazon market place. Play trade info here

PlayTrade is the new online trading platform from Play.com. It allows customers to choose to buy products from a number of different sellers, called PlayTraders, using the Play.com checkout. Think of PlayTrade as an online shopping centre, with lots of choice and variety.

Only thing is everything seems dearer so Im not sure who is going to use play trade over play's prices. :?

Unlike Amazon marketplace, not just anyone can sell their stuff on play.

Sounds like controlling balls to me. Play will heavy hand the traders to ensure that they sell goods at prices that won't undercut them too much.

Its pointless really as moes_girl has pointed out, the prices are much higher. Another example Serenity £5.99 from Play and £17.06 from playtrade
