I used to order from these guys a few years back and they were slow to deliver. Tried them again recently and received my stuff in 6 days so am gonna go back to them and see how it goes. I think their postal prices are a bit cheaper than DVD pacific's also.

With U.S.A. retailers a lot depends on whether they use: standard versus priority airmail.
Also whether items are sent directly to the U.K, or are 1st shipped to Germany/Switzerland.
I have bought from deep discount before, and waited 4 weeks for items, that arrived via Switzerland.
Other times, items have arrived direct - within 10 working days.
I don't think there is any USA etailer out there than can match Dvdpacific's consistancy /predictability of service.
You'll have to talk to deepdiscount dvd.com to find that out !!!
Etailers do not generally carry stock (apart from dvd pacific)
They have agreements with 3rd parties, and items are shipped via them.
If the distributors change shipping agents, then items may take a different shipping route.
I bought the same box set within minutes from deepdiscount, and from an Amazon market place seller who has there own website (dvdplanet.com).
Both items arrived at the same time in identical packaging
Both contained the same style of invoice.
The only difference was the logo at the top of the invoice.
Both items had basically been sent from the same warehouse in Illinois.
Dvdpacific have changed shipping agents in the past, and items were sent via France - and took around 3 weeks to arrive.

That's useful info BJ. Have you considered writing a short guide for the forum?

Ive never had any issues with waiting for mail for longer than 2 weeks from DDDVD or DVD Pacific, with one exception.
Right now im STILL waiting for a package from DVD Pacific that was despatched 6 weeks ago. I have to wait another 2 weeks before i can claim it lost with them, which is silly. Im just going to ask for a refund. I mean they said since it was sent via surface mail they have to wait that long, but they never send by surface, always air. And since that missing order ive had 3 more orders sent, and 2 have arrived with the other due tomorrow.
