Is there any delay with cdwow updating order statuses. I've 2 orders that have been pending for approx 3-4 days now (they arent new releases or anything) but they seem to be pending for longer than normal!
Wouldnt have anything to do with the server trouble and they just havent updated??

Depends which server you look on. Lack of sync also affects order status on the website. I have had orders on pending despatch for over 2 months (and then suddenly one day they are sent off). 3-4 days is not uncommon. If you check the amount of order delays they send out these days, you will notice that they do indeed have problems with their suppliers (both region 1 and 3). Some region 2 titles may also be affected.
But if a server is out of sync, it will effectively look like it did the last time it was syncronised (new orders won't be added, despatched titles will still be marked as pending, out of stock items will still be listed as in stock etc.)
Guess I'm just too impatient as have not had an order delayed recently with cdwow so am due a bit of a wait :wink: Both are things i've noticed others order recently so that probably explains it but they show the same status on various servers so image its genuinly pending!
They must have problems with their R4 suppliers as well, I’ve had my second order delays for Charmed season 6 and 7 both ordered over 2 weeks ago with estimated dispatch date of 1st September 2006.
Also I ordered Scrubs seasons 1-3 (individually) on 14th August for a present that was needed by tomorrow to make sure I had enough time to receive it, this morning I just received another order delay for that too. As much as I love cdwow I am finding myself drifting to other e-tailers lately.

I know it's the stuff that starts rumors, but I can think of one thing that would cause delays in deliveries with all suppliers (money). I just hope they aren't going belly up.
Similar problem with CDs. Just received my second delay notification. I'm also losing faith in CD-WOW - particularly having to return an item to Cyprus yesterday.
Not worth the hassle buying from them in my opinion.
have NEVER received a delay email or had a dvd that i have ordered delayed.
