I thought you could only do that if you had that feature available to you on certain credit cards? I know on one of my cards if an item I purchase goes down in price within 28 days I can apply for the difference to be refunded to me. I didn’t know you could do this with Amazon – would be interested to hear if this is true or not?
Yep, that was me who claimed the difference back from Amazon, thanks to Kempy who mentioned it in the Curb Your Enthusiasm thread, here. I just e:mailed them through customer service, the refund bit I think it was, asking about the 28 day policy, and they refunded me the difference. Thank you Amazon!

Wasnt there a thread somewhere about getting a partial refund from Amazon if they reduce the price within days of purchase? Can't find it!
Sometimes they offer that on their own, sometimes I had to put gun into their heads to receive refund.
Never received refund for Gladiator. It was Ł12 delivered (back in 2003) and they lower the price the day after I made purchase to Ł8.99.
