Ok so its not completely bad, but things dont seem to be working out so good with amazon and the refund now, waited a couple of weeks for it and never recieved anything, emailed them yesterday asking when they'd expect to refund.
Checked my emails in work and they reply saying they have sent Gift Certificate for $129.99, but would cancel it and issue a cheque instead (which i pressume would be an international cheque and therefor come with bank charges for cashing)?
Had to go back and reread the initial response just to make sure i hadnt misread what they put, and as i thought, they informed i would be refunded and then charged again "both on the credit card i used to originally order".
Now i have two $130 odd charges on my credit card (of which only one was authorized and the other on condition that they refunded first - as they usually do) and $130 gift certificate (which did arrive today) that i have to use with them (of course i order plenty from them, but it makes little difference as i might not have wanted to order $130 again - which i dont have the money to be spending at this moment in time).
Amazon is personally my favourite online company, and they usually sort these things out very quickly, but im pretty angry that they have done this, as i said i would send 3 of the discs that were scratched back to be changed so it wouldnt cost as much postage, which they replied by saying dont bother sending back we'll just send you another, i didnt realise that it would be at my expense to do so.
Hopefully they'll sort this mess out soon, and i'll once again be able to post loads of great things about the service at amazon
