Yep, the worst thing about it is the £4 Royal Mail 'handling' charge, the VAT and import duty are minor and if it was only that which we had to pay anytime we went over the import limit I wouldn't have a problem with it, RM take the piss :x

Even though there was an extra £9 on top, it was still cheaper than in the UK

Re: Region 1 Retailers

Just wondering does anyone know if Caiman are customs friendly?

I want to order Picket Fences but it will come to about £26 and I want to know if they mark down the price or mark it as a gift or anything

PS - Are Movietyme definitely customs friendly? Just spotted that they have Picket Fences for £24.99 but I've never used them before. On here people say they are customs friendly but I'm sure I've also seen people say that they aren't

Thank you very much. Will order it from them then.

So what is it they do anyway to make sure it is customs friendly? No idea what those other people were on about then saying Movietyme wasn't customs friendly

I think they send the dvds from inside the uk. Sometimes you get the dvd 1 or 2 days later

My advice is to stick with courier - courier shipments get cleared electronically by the courier company and most often customs never even see the packages

using Swedish mail adds more time too

Thanks
