Playtrade Help

Hi everyone,

Got a problem with a buyer on playtrade. I sold a HD-DVD of Heroes season 1 for my brother. It was brand new and sealed. The buyer contacted me to say disc 6 wouldn't play. I asked him to send it back which he did, I checked the disc and it worked fine. I had my own copy of season 1 so I checked disc 6 and worked fine so swapped them over and resent it. He emailed me to say that disc 6 wont play and wants a refund. Now I know that it works so where do I stand. If I give a refund I lose out on about a £5 odd (double postage as sent twice) and then get a used hd-dvd back.

Anyone got any advise please?

I'd contact PlayTrade and explain the situation. I'm guessing they'll back the buyer as most places do nowadays :(

Maybe check what they are using it on, 360 HD player or Satandalone.

With 360 a clear of the cache often helps discs that wont load and on a Stanalone are they on the most recent firmware??

When I came back from posting it and confirmed dispatch I noticed PlayTrade said I'd sold something else which was apparently sold a few hours earlier but I never got an email saying I'd sold it... should I be worried and keep checking back regularly incase I don't get an email from PlayTrade again in the future?

I wouldn't pay much attention to the e-mails as sometimes you don't even get them. I always go through my account. I'd ring them and explain the situation
