Classic American TV Original theme Tunes

A friend just sent me this CD. It's got 65 original TV Themes from 50's to 60's and it's superb. If anyone wants a copy send me a PM.

Re: Classic American TV Original theme Tunes

I used to have several albums from this series on vinyl - they're really cool (especially for old farts like us!).

If I remember rightly, the 70s & 80s one is particularly good, as the sound quality had improved and also many themes were then recorded as full songs (can't remember if it was the full versions on these though - I don't think so).

I had a really good album of the Mike Post/Pete Carpenter themes as well. Class!

Re: Classic American TV Original theme Tunes

Damn, I should keep my mouth shut

No, I haven't yet.

But in my defence I have to say its only because I haven't had any real chance to sit around and watch anything. You did convince me, honest.

But I still think that as soon as I open it the price of the network set will plummet. Wish I had spoted it at £50 odd.

My Colour set from DDHE still hasn't arrived either.
