Bear Grylls

Anyone watch this (c4, saturday evening)

He's the bloke who 'escaped' to the legion a few years back...and now with Ray Mears' last show being a snoozefest, he seems to be good competition to ray.

Re: Bear Grylls

I've watched them all and they're excellent fun. Although if you were in a survival situation you probably wouldn't act and do the things he does (unless you want to increase the chances of being killed by 100x :p). His methods are unsuprising though with his background in the Army and training in the French Foreign Legion - the series would be pretty boring if he wasn't completely mad though

The series was called Man Vs Wild in the US, it finished airing earlier this year I think - so far it's been exactly the same series except for one episode which the US didn't get.

A stroke of luck that boat coming along when it did, just when he couldn't go anywhere.
