Oz

I couldn't see any threads on this series but I've just started watching Oz (after I saw that it was cheap on the HMV site for the first season).

Has anyone else seen this? I'm currently near the end of season 1 and I love it! Half of the cast are from other TV shows which is great to see them as they were back in 1997 when this series started.

Looking to get the remaining seasons now

Re: Oz

I bought season 1 with my £10 play voucher but haven't watched it yet.

Season 2 R2 isn't out until May 2007 so may go with the R1 for season 2 providing I like the first season but Im sure I will.

Re: Oz

It really is surprisingly good. I avoided it for ages because I thought it was some Australian programme from looking at the title, silly me!

I'm looking to get the full six seasons on region 1 if I can find them for a decent price.

Re: Oz

oz is a fantastic programme. i used to watch it when they put it on channel 4 in the early hours. it can have some really brutal stuff but it has great characters and storylines to back it up. i think it had six or seven seasons in the end - never thought it would make it on to region 2 dvd though. hopefully, lots more people can appreciate it this way, as it is certainly up there with the rest of hbo's output.

Re: Oz

I love Oz

It runs for 6 seasons and is definitely in my top ten list of favourite tv shows.
