Did anyone see this on Saturday?

I've just got around to watching it, overall I have to say I was expecting it to be a bit better after all the hype. It reminded me strangly of Xena, only without as much fun (or cleavage)

The first 15 minutes were dire. It got slightly better as it went on. Not impressed with the crap "jokes" throughtout. Robins irish-tinged accent is not great either.

I think if it was anything other than Robin Hood I would not bother next week.

Also is "Nottingham" castle the same building used for Cadfaels monastery? Cos it looked exactly the same. (Except for the gallows of course)

After watching it, it made me want to watch Robin of Sherwood for the tenth+ time :)

Did anyone see the Jonathan Ross programme on Robin Hood? I thought the spanish film and the german musical versions to look amusing!!

With the hype I was expecting better. Some of the dialogue seemed out of place, trying to be too hip for the younger audience.
I`ll stick with Robin Of Sherwood.

It was ok for a first episode and I expect it to get better. Still a better choice than anything else thats on at that time of day. Will give it a couple of weeks.

Not sure about the Cadfael link as I thought it was filmed in Hungary. :?
