ive been thinking of plaunging for a 360, but still not sure and at £200 its still way above the price id want.

im sure when its £129 ill pick one up lol, im just not a serious gamer so maybe it isnt right for me. i do want a Wii again, but not for more than £129 either. as for PS3, i doubt ill ever be able to get one.

You should checkout blockbusters second hand Xbox's. it's only the cores i think they're selling for £100, but they've all been sent off to a central place that checks them all over, and I think replaces fans and gives them a clean inside etc before selling them to customers, with a years warranty after that (or so the guy told my friend who bought one). If you don't mind second hand it's certainly a good deal

Hmmmmm........ The cores are pretty much useless to be honest. Unless you are happy to get tangled up in the wires, not be able to save games and have no online useability whatsoever.

But for £100 i suppose they are good as a doorstop. Or a paperweight.

The Core system is fine if you're not bothered about playing online. And can get a 64Mb memory card for under £20, which will allow you to save maybe 10 games. (But a 20Gb hard drive is only £45 just now at Woolworths.)
