That is EXTREMELY good value.

Normally, cinema systems at this sort of price don't have a DVD player built in, but also don't support Dolby 5.1 - they actually are just stereo with "simulated" surround.

But to actually have 5.1 in a system at this price is incredible.

I've been after getting a home cinema system for a while now but am totally clueless to be honest - would this plug into/work with my current multi region dvd player does anyone know please?

It should do - as long as it has a digital audio in. However, you need to check what type of digital output your current player has - there are two types, OPTICAL or COAX. You can get converters if you really need to.

There's nothing listed in the specs to suggest which (if any) digital audio input it has - but I'd be surprised if there isn't one.

Hope this comes off, I've ordered one for me and one for a mate. Thought I might set it up in the spare bedroom. I can't find a multi region hack for it but most of the Bush players have them so we'll have to see.
