Twin tuner freeview 40gb recorder for less than £40

Here it is.

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(16874)DigiFusion-FVRT100-FreeView-Set-Top-Box-with.aspx

£38.76 including vat. Not sure how much delivery is 'cos I've always bought stuff from them in store.

Its a better bit of kit for two main reasons:
  • Its got twin tuners
  • Its got a 12 month warranty

Re: Twin tuner freeview 40gb recorder for less than £40

i`ve got an FVRT 100, had it for a few years now and it`s a great box. 1 thing I will say is change the power supply. The ones they come with are rubbish and can fail. After about a year mine started playing up so I replaced it and it`s fine now. Also these are great because you can replace the hard drive. Mine has a 120gig drive in it now

When we moved in to our house we got a digital aerial installed with feeds into the living room, family room, master bedroom and one of the kids bedrooms.

Do you know what type or make it is. Or are they all much of a muchness? I'm thinking it's time to knock sky on the head as it costs a fortune, I d/l the shows I want to watch and I always end up watching the footy in the pub.

Dunno. I just rang someone up and said "fit me a digital aerial" and he came and did it.
