Now that HD-DVD has officially bitten the dust we in the UK have gone crazy over Blu-Ray players with both Play and Dixons Reporting large spikes in consumer interest in Blu-Ray hardware this week. Guess we've just all been waiting for this day eh? I'm definitely in the market and browsing round play I found this one, which is around £20 cheaper than most places are selling it. Its got decent reviews on Play's website, but does anyone here have any opinions on it?

Its only profile 1.0, so no proper PiP or internet connectivity - ever.

However, if you only watch the movie and extras, then this is a proper bargain.

There's a Samsung BD-P1000 at PC World for £149.99 if you can find one anywhere, out of stock online but if you can find one, bargain
