In all honesty I rather eat my own S**t than listen to Paul Weller. S**t is is a bit much actually. I'd rather eat Apple Pie instead, I can't stand it.

Good point. I love The Jam, just not Paul Weller's solo material, apart from "Broken Stones", thats a great tune.

Weller's solo career, whilst not up to the standards of The Jam (but then what is?) has many great songs. If you've only ever heard the radio hits like Broken Stones and You Do Something To Me then you're missing out. The following are (just a few) of his ace solo tunes :

Whirlpools End
Come On/Lets Go
Has My Fire Really Gone Out?
The Weaver
Peacock Suit
Uh Huh Oh Yeah
My Whole World Is Falling Down
Bitterness Rising
Kosmos
Shadow Of The Sun

Long live The Modfather!
